My fiancee spent this last January studying nursing in Uganda. While there, they had clinicals at CURE Hospital, a pediatric neurosurgery hospital in Mbale, Uganda. Each year the nursing class has a fundraiser to bring a monetary gift to help support the hospital. This year Justine organized selling shirts, and I was able to help out by designing them. There was a great response, and we made over $2,000 in profit for the hospital. Here we are wearing both color options.

Beast of the Sea
Here's an final scan of an illustration from my book on Revelation for my bookmaking class. With all of the other requirements of the class, it looks like I won't have time to finish it all, but I'm pleased with what I have so far. This is the beast of the sea, done with watercolor and ink.

Fear the Lord
I recently entered the foray of painting with water soluble color pencils. This is piece, highly inspired by tattoo flash, was my first attempt. While there are plenty of improvements to be made, I'm pleased with the general outcome. I have been using this technique for illustrating my book about Revelation and am pleased with the results so far. More to come soon.
